Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating the conflict in Georgia to benefit one of its presidential election candidates.
In an exclusive interview with CNN's Matthew Chance in the Black Sea city of Sochi Thursday, Putin said the U.S. had encouraged Georgia to attack the autonomous region of South Ossetia.

Your actions were justified... but you simply overstayed your welcome. Believe me, Americans want to change, we want to vote for Obama, and alter the course of the universe for all humankind... but we cannot do it without your help. Putin is liar. For example, he claims that Unified Osetia became part of Russia in 1745-1747. First of all, Osetia became a part of Russia in 1774. Second, There was no South Osetia at that time. This region was not called any Osetia. Proof, anybody can find the map of Russian Empire from 1796. Here is a map of Europe in 1800,

Another nonsense from Mr. Putin. He claims that Georgia abandoned Abkhazias autonomy in 1990-1991. This is wrong. Moreover, Georgia agreed on changes os Abkhazia's constitution.Abkhazs got 50%+1 vote in the parliament of Abkahz republic (abkhaz population was only 18%). They also got new rule, prezident of Abkhazia was an abkhaz ethnically by new constitution.
This is second garbage from Mr. Putin. All facts I mentioned, can be easily checked.

First at all, you concentrate on date, but Putin sad only about middle of century , not about concrete date.
Second at all, he's main true is^
a) Saakashvili is agressor, and he killed 2000 of piece citizen, and bomb piece towns and villiges
b) US government help georgia to militirize, and do not stop it to start the war
c) I think US candidate from Republican use this situation to be eleceted
Putin is wrong but it was McCain who said “on behalf of all Americans” that “we are all Georgians” so, technically, if all Americans are Georgians, then indeed, the Americans attacked S.Osetia, No?? His pools are up, his Georgian sponsors are happy and Saakashvili, who was the one who actually started it, is kind of a hero, the champion of Information Olympics
I wonder why CNN do not quote the complete exclusive interview with Putin and show only a few sentences? In Russia we heard much more. Does CNN believe that the Russian PM told much more than free America should know?
