Kids' healthcare price of 40 days in Iraq

The Measure vetoed last week by President Bush to provide millions of children with affordable health coverage would cost what the Pentagon spends every 40 days in Iraq, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said today.

Appearing on the program Fox News Sunday, moderator Chris Wallace asked Pelosi if she would compromise with the president if she failed to round up enough votes to override his veto.

"The president calls himself the decider," Pelosi responded, "and I don't know why he would want to decide that one child has health care and another does not."
