Sidney Blumenthal joins me on the program this evening. He is a former assistant and senior advisor to President Bill Clinton. In the past he has written for the Washington Post and the New Yorker. Currently he writes for the Guardian and Salon in addition to his work as a senior fellow at the New York University centre on law and security.
